There are 3 airports to choose from when coming to Aphrodite: Larnaca, Paphos, and Ercan Airports. Choose any of the below directions to make your journey simpler.
– If you fly to Larnaca Airport in South Cyprus, you can rent a car from Euro Car Rental with insurance for both North and South Cyprus, and then drive North, crossing at the border crossing, in Nicosia. Aphrodite is only a 1.5 hour drive from Larnaca. Alternatively, our Visitor Liason can arrange a taxi transfer to pick you up in Larnaca and bring you to Aphrodite.
Detailed Directions: find the Agios Demitrios crosspoint in South Nicosia (call us for directions if required). Cross over, into North Nicosia (Lefkosa). Follow signs to Girne/Kyrenia until you reach a traffic light junction, where you will turn left onto the main road to Guzelyurt. Follow directions to Guzelyurt, above. It is 35 minutes drive to Aphrodite from Lefkosa.
– If you fly to Paphos Ariport in South Cyprus, you can also rent a car in the mentioned above Euro Car Rental and head to the North Coast via the road along Polis bay, accross the Troodos mountains until you reach a Astro Meritis check point that will take you to North Cyprus. After crossing, it will take you less than 30 min to reach the Resort. – If you fly to Ercan Airport, which is in North Cyprus, you can rent a car and drive 50 minutes to Aphrodite, take a taxi from the airport to Aphrodite Beachfront in Gaziveren, or again, our Visitor Liason can arrange a taxi for you.
Should you have special needs including baby or child safe car seats, or need a Multi Passenger Vehicle to accommodate your party, our Visitor Liason can make these arrangements for you. Please, mention it in the form on our home page while booking your vacation in North Cyprus

West Coast Bay Area
Aphrodite Beachfront Village is located in North Cyprus on Morphou Bay, on the coast of the historic Gaziveren village just outside of Guzelyurt, Cyprus’ 4th largest and most affluent town. The Guzelyurt area is known for its acres of citrus fields supplying a gorgeous scenic drive to our Resort.
Guzelyurt is home to the largest weekly Farmers Market, the month-long summertime Orange Festival, The Archeological Museum and ancient ruins, and small authentic streets full with shops.
Driving past Aphrodite down the coast, you will come to the cultural ruins of Soli, and amazing Vouni Palace ruins.
Visiting the villages of Lefke and Yesilirmak will allow you to indulge in amazing scenic views, mountain walks, and cultural experiences.
The coastline is full with beachfront restaurants specializing in fresh fish, kebap and traditional meze.
Aphrodite Beachfront Village is just 40 minutes from the Troodos mountains Ski Resort. It is also a lovely scenic drive to the fishing villages of Poli and Latsi, should you choose to use the new Yesilirmak border crossing to the South Cyprus.
Guzelyurt Farmers Market
Every Saturday morning from 6am to 1pm enjoy the farmers market in the town centre. As one of the largest outside markets, it offers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables from the regions' fields, as well as clothes, toys, tools, local foods, nuts, spices, plants and much more.
Faces of Cyprus Artist's Studio
A must-see in the lovely mountain village of Yesilirmak, this quaint artist studio offers beautifully carved sea-wood masks showing the many faces of cyprus – both art and culture rolled into one beautiful experience. Masks range in price from as little as 80 tl to 500 tl. A perfect gift from Cyprus or piece of art to treasure once back home.
Ciftlik Evi Restaurant, Gaziveren
Enjoy a traditional ciftlik (turk. farm) meal at this farmhouse style restaurant just 100 meters from Aphrodite. Serving traditional kebaps, steak, borek and even oven baked pizzas, everyone’s taste buds will be satisfied. It is not just a meal on offer at Ciflik Evi: the kids can enjoy a peek at the animal farm and even feed the chickens, or play in the garden and couples can enjoy a romantic horse ride on the beach at sunset.

Yesilyurt Golf Course
This famous 9-hole golf course located 5 minutes from Aphrodite Beachfront Village is the first in Cyprus. Located on the seafront, the views are superb. It allows for a nice game of golf before coming back to Aphrodite for a swim in the sea or pool. Speak to our Visitor Liason for day trips organized to Korineum 18 hole Championship Golf Course near Alagadi on the north coast of the island.
Organic Farm and Restaurant, Yesilirmak
A stunning trip not to be missed, this organic farm is located in the scenic mountains of Yesilirmak, just 15 minutes from Aphrodite. Enjoy breakfast (served until 11am daily) or a traditional lunch cooked to order with all organic ingredients fresh from the farm. With indoor or outdoor seating and an amazing mountain backdrop, your every sense will be ignited. Local olive oil, organic spreads and seasonal goods are also sold in their shop. Old City Nicosia
